How did The Treasury come about?

Here's our 'journey'...

We’ve been doing this for while now, and we’re aware we’ve never really shared why we started it all in the beginning!

If you don’t know, we are Jen and Laura, two pals from Budleigh Salterton, Devon, a little town by the sea.

During the shizz show that was 2020, we both found ourselves especially grateful for the houses we called home. We took solace in our surroundings and like many, had a newfound appreciation for the little things in life; from our favourite mug that held a warm cup of tea, to the smell of a lit candle as we sipped wine in the evening.

We decided to create The Treasury to offer our customers a way to ‘elevate their everyday’, by offering well-designed and beautiful homeware and gifts. From simple items that make household tasks more enjoyable, to decorative pieces, our collection offers you quality and long-lasting products that you’ll keep for years.

We both have a good eye for design but bring a different perspective to our finds. Jen, has an eye for the timeless, she has an MA From the Royal College of Art, and trained with the British Academy of Floral Art. She appreciates good design, and her attention to detail in unrivalled. Laura is the avid shopper, she trained with the London College of Fashion and the London College of Style. She loves colour and in the spirit of Marie Kondo, loves any item that sparks Joy.
